The latest installment in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle films has been announced for a Christmas 2012 release. At a recent Nickelodeon event producer, Michael Bay stated "When you see this movie, kids are going to believe, one day, that these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable." This not only goes against the grain of the very name of the comic and film, but also against 27 years of the comic story line and every single spin off since it's inception. They didn't make the X-men aliens when they adapted that and they should not make the Ninja Turtles aliens either. Lets tell the studios we don't support Michael Bay's version of their origin.
