we, the Muslims of the world, call on the khadimul haramain, also known as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of Makkah and Madinah, to live up to his name and prevent the destruction of historical and holy sites in Madinah.
In 2013, the city of the Prophet (saw), madinah munawarah, is earmarked for 'development' which will result in massive destruction of historically important sites including Masjid Abu Bakr and Masjid Umar, as well as the Masjid Ghamama, built to mark the spot where the Prophet gave his first prayers for the Eid festival.
We call on Khadimul Haramain to be a true Khadim (helper), and look after this site and not to be a hadim (destroyer) of these sites.
