Comments: This is a safe and accessible space in a heavily populated area , that contributes to the wellbeing and health of many. Our wardens are the guardians of this sanctuary whose absence will have untold effects on our community.

Comments: There are so few natural open spaces remaining in the City of Manchester that none of the few that are left should be lost or damaged.

Comments: the council need to look beyond the short term in their planning and decision making process. In the medium/long term maintaining the areas through the warden service will maintain the sustainability, increase tourism and reduce further spend. the warden service is a value for money service, cuts need to be made in terms of areas like unnecesary leaflets/printing and arts.

Comments: Chorlton Water Park is not just a park, it's a place of natural beauty and a sanctuary for wildlife unique in south Manchester. We must maintain the expertise of the Wardens to protect this precious place.

Comments: I am extrememly concerned by this dangerous and short sighted measure. The wardens provide a valuable service to the local area and to the local schools. They facilitate many events and educational opportunities which we would be unable to access in any other format. We need people like this to help preserve our environment. They provide a valuable contribution to the education of future generations.

Comments: The Wardens have spent years developing the Chorlton Water Park and the surrounding nature reserves to their present outstanding state. We have a great asset for Chorlton attracting visitors from miles around. It would be agreat shame, and a detriment to our community if the warden service was lost and Mersey Valley in Manchester was left to deteriorate
