Comments: The warden service is vital to a safe, pleasant and biodiverse Mersey Valley. Neighbourhood services is not sufficient to maintain and safeguard such an important area. The Mersey valley is cited as a vital health and biodiversity resource in Manchester's own LDF- keep it that way.

Comments: Chorlton Water park is nice place and i go there every day at dinner time for a nice walk. Its quite relaxing and breaks my day in two halves. Retaining wardens service will keep this park safe and sound orelse i will not ne going as it will be no longer safe to do so.

Comments: I am very concerned as a regular user of the Meadows and surrounding area that without the Mersey Valley Wardens this facility will rapidly deteriorate and become a dangerous wilderness.

Comments: I object to the Mersey Valley Warden service being cut as I don't believe volunteers can do the work alone and I want to know what Manchester City Council are doing with the £70-80 million unspent monies from the last few years and why funds can't be taken out of that?

Comments: we must save the mersey valley wardens service. it's fundamentally wrong to disband the service and loose their local presence on this site. The inevitable decline of the area will be a significant loss to all.

Comments: The Manchester 'Green Lung' is an invaluable asset whose benefit to all the community is invisible but essential. After years of success it would be a tragedy if it was allowed to deteriorate and the wardens play a crucial role here in preserving it for the present and future..

Comments: This is a fantastic and important community resource as well as a nature reserve and needs the dedicated care of the Wardens.Surely this is a false economy that will only incur higher costs in future once the areas fall into dangerous disrepair and disuse.
