| 308 | Jyoti Sydnor | Last year, I taught 2nd grade at Lakewood Elementary School and my kids loved every Friday afternoon because we would go swimming. Todd taught many of my children how to swim in the comfortable setting of the Lakewood YMCA. This was an opportunity some of the children would never receive. Thank you Lakewood YMCA for providing this opportunity. Please continue to support the Lakewood YMCA so more children can learn to swim. (It was also great because the children didn't need to ride a bus, it was within walking distance.) |

| 319 | Anonymous | I am a group fitness instructor and have been employed by the Durham YMCA for over 10 years. I taught at Lakewood for 7 years before moving my classes to American Tobacco due to the growth of the Active Older Adults classes (needed larger aerobics room) and the Y's decision to remove the kids' room. I think it would be a travesty for Lakewood to close as I feel it truly embodies what the YMCA is all about. |
