Attention! Seven full time faculty members of Mitchell College were notified on Tuesday, that this semester, Fall 2012, will be their last semester teaching at Mitchell. Among these seven, was Dr. Quelia Quaresma-McHugh. She is beloved by all at Mitchell College, has a passion for both history and teaching, she is creative, and makes learning history easier to understand while showing us the importance of knowing our history. The other six include, Dr. Barfchin, Dr. Tolson, Dr. Akram Erik-Soussi, Dr. Frank Hendrick, Dr. Dan Kresge, and Dr. Patricia Phillips. The school is making a mistake letting these professors go. Join me, in the fight to have their jobs reinstated for next semester. Taking away these highly qualified teachers is taking away quality education from those who benefit from it- the students.
