Hull City Council has announced that it is to close the Hands on History Museum in Hull to "save money" with openings only available to pre-booked groups. This museum is a valuable asset to the people of Hull and tourists and it offers so much. If Hull is to truly be the City of Culture in 2017 then places like this should remain open for every generation to enjoy.
A city of culture doesn't close museums.
Tis a total disgrace that this is even happening. What about "HULL, THE CITY OF CULTURE" by the time 2017 gets here we wont have any Culture left !!
