Name: Jason Scott on Apr 29, 2012Comments: I painted that fence as a kid. I have driven by it nearly everyday since I could drive. Its truly a part of Byron and would be a travesty to take it down because someone things removing the fence will improve visibility over the hill. Driver error is at fault, not the fence.Flag

Name: Rachel Smith on Apr 29, 2012Comments: I believe the fence should remain on the property. If there has not been an accident there in 15 years and the accidents there were caused by drunk drivers, then it does not appear necessary to tear down a fence that has such value and meaning to this family. The intersection near the Grillo house has always been of concern because of the hill. Perhaps having a stop light or 4 way stop at the top of the hill where the intersection is located would be more efficient and proactive in preventing vehicle accidents.Flag
