Final supporters
We have had an issue with thefts being reported to the police recently and because of this our licence to stay open is under review.
Our cloakroom is free and we always try and reunite customers with their belongings but we cannot help if people do not inform us of lost or stolen items. Unfortunately the crime figures that the police have do not match our own records, we do hope that people aren't losing their belongings due to their negligence and claiming they were stolen.
By signing this petition you think the dolphin pub hackney is a safe, low crime environment. That you are aware off or use our free cloakroom.

The Dolphin pub, Hackney is one of the few, lasting pubs that has history and beauty in this area. To close it would deprive the area of a public, social hub that unites the ever changing community. Recent changes that have been made to refine the clientele.. offering daytime food, better selection of beers and ales is very welcomed by myself. I have never experienced or been aware of any thefts/ crime in the many times that I have visited over my time in London.. the last 13 years. Pleases keep the Dolphin open and work with the owners to maintain it as a welcoming and safe public house.
thefts are an area problem and nothing to do with the pub. Anywhere doing that kind of turnover would get similar probs. don't kill an ace part of the local scene.
This place is a legend, total joke that they are even targeting it. keep the dolphin open!

It is a pub steeped in history, and was a imbibing venue well before the arrival of a hipster film maker and/or accountant. They will move on( hopefully soon). But the pub must stay! We must not allow for this institution to close
