Dear neighbors and friends; As you may already know, as a part of its comprehensive plan, the SFMTA is planning on more Bus stop consolidation along the 21 Hayes MUNI line. One of the proposed bus stop locations is Hayes and Central (inbound & outbound). We are petitioning to keep these bus stops exactly where they are. We strongly believe these stops are used more frequently than those other locations which are not being eliminated as a part of this project. This stop serves a major population and business hub, with a Laundromat, coffee shop, convenience store, and restaurant in less than a 1 block radius. More people travel across the panhandle to use the Central Ave bus stops and to avoid traveling uphill to Haight street. We the undersigned are concerned citizens who urge the SFMTA to SAVE the Central Ave. Bus Stops on 21 Hayes MUNI line.
