In November 2011, UCL and the London Borough of Newham announed they would be working in partnership to build a new campus on The Carpenters Estate, Stratford, leading to the demolition of houses and businesses on the estate.The plight of the residents on the Carpenters Estate was recently documented on the BBC London News.Mary Finch has lived on the estate for 42 years and is one of the many residents who faces losing their homes.It is our intention to gain as many signatures as possible to help the residents to save their homes.If you would like to help us achieve our goal and get the plight of the residents in the public eye, please take time to sign.
