Comments: I am a member of Bodmin Musical Theatre Company and we use the public rooms every year for our productions. There is nowhere else in Bodmin suitable for such things and it would be detrimental to the towns already waning community spirit to lose it. I think its outrageous!!

Comments: You should be trying to preserve Bodmin's history, including its historical buildings for future generations. Although I live in Wales I visit Bodmin and the Museum is one of my first stopping off points as my grand-mother was born in Bodmin.

Comments: The only decent sized indoor public space in a town that has plans to grow quite rapidly and is already Lacking in a variety of activities to suit all tastes needs a beautiful building like this to carry it's past into a positive future.

Comments: Why let go of such a valuable asset to the community? The work people have been doing there to provide entertainment across many boards is great and the growing interest in the public rooms and its events is obvious. Keep this place alive, for the good of Bodmin, Cornwall, and more importantly the community.

Comments: I think it would be most detrimental to the community to lose this wonderful resource. I appreciate the need to cut council spending, however, in this situation I feel that the sense of value this brings both to Bodmin and all the surrounding locality far outweighs the financial cost of upkeep.

Comments: This valuable community asset must be saved. The councils idea to off load this building as a 'quick fix' is short sighted. It is not in the best interest of the local community and against the wishes of many local residents. Their decision was taken without public inclusion or debate.
