We, the Patchogue and Bellport community are familiar with the "Bayview Bay" that resides at the end of Bayview Street, off of South Country Road. The bay has become part of us all. I have played at the bay with friends, and family, but unfortunately, the bay is currently suffering from pollution and negligence. The town is neglecting the needs of the bay by having not already rebuilt the dock that was destroyed by Hurricane Irene, August 2011. The bay is also suffering from pollution due to the mediocre debris caused by the drainage pipe that leads directly into the bay, and the countless piles of cement and wood that lay in the bay. Something must be done to convince the town to make an action, and restore the bay. By signing this petition, you are agreeing that the Bayview Bay must be restored.
