Name: Edward Phillips on Jan 13, 2013Comments: it is unacceptable to move Sunday half hour to a time slot when the loyal audience will not be listening. Many of its audience are very elderly and will not understand what I-Player is, and probably not even know how to switch on a computer. For those of who do know, it is a traditional part of Sunday evening, and you are now losing that audience completely. I am very angry that the BBC has made such a bad decision. After all the bad press the Corporation has received this year, relegating Christian broadcasting to just 6-9am is extremely disappointing.Flag

Name: Mrs. Wilma Williams on Jan 13, 2013Comments: Sunday Half Hour has always been part of my life (I am 71 years old). My parents listened to it and my siblings and myself have continued to do so. It is part of our Sunday evening and will leave such a huge gap in our lives. 8.30pm on Sundays is Sunday Half Hour and nothing can fill that gap. Please do not move it to such an ungodly hour! Leave it as it is and bring back Brian D'Arcy. We miss him so much! Thank you for reading this and God Bless.Flag

Name: Alan Price on Jan 13, 2013Comments: I am so disappointed that the BBC are changing from 8.30pm. I have been aregular listener for many years and 6.00am and iplayer are not an option. Is it possible for the BBC to consider many of their regular listeners and retain Sunday Half Hour at 8.30pm. Regards Alan PriceFlag

There is little enough Christian broadcasts on the BBC radio or television. I have listened to it for over 50 years. Please cinsider your faithful listeners and bring it back to 8.30pmFlag

Name: David Welch on Jan 13, 2013Comments: If SHH disappears, we doubt that an early morning Sunday show will feature the same types of church music as the mainstay ingredient of the present ptrogramme. This will leave a huge gap between worship songs and the Anglican cathedral tradition that is well looked after on Radio 3. Outwith England there is less interest in cathedral music, the main music that religious listeners enjoy bing ordinary hymns.Flag

Name: Kendal Judd on Jan 13, 2013Comments: However much I will miss Sunday Half Hour at 8.30 personally, I feel so sad for the people who have loved and supported this programme probably for the best part of their lives. Tonight a man who has played the organ in his local church (this is a voluntary role) for 70+ years was able to hear a dedication read out to him, an acknowledgement of his dedication and devotion. This person is so typical of the SHH listeners who have given years of service to their community or are celebrating 50+ years of marriage and they are people who in their 70's, 80's and 90's who may not even own a computer, let alone know how to 'listen again on BBC I Player'. PLEASE think of these people who tune in every Sunday evening and for whom it means so much. This programme is valuable to so many people and I can't tell you how much I will miss it.Flag
