Comments: So many older people will not be wanting to listen at 6a.m. They have been listening to Sunday half Hour for so long at 8.30.p.m.that is what they are used to. Older people have enough change to cope with without their specoal programme being added to the list. Again minority suffers. Please have a rethink. On behalf of my Parents & Aunt. Both of whom have also written to the B B C about this.

Comments: This decision reflects a BBC totally out of touch with it's listeners and wishing to marginalise religious broadcasting. We have written to voice our complaint and been told the change reflects a declining audience. What is the evidence to support that?

Comments: I am very disturbed by the suggested reallocation of Sunday Half Hour. I'm sure very few people will be able to listen at 6am. Many of those people do not have a computer and access to I player. so will loose the programme completely. Another point is that people listing to the broadcast as it is now have a sense of community and fellowship as they listen together. I strongly oppose this sidelining of yet another religious programme. It is one that is very important to many, including myself and my husband.

Comments: Sunday Half Hour has been a vital part of my life for nearly sixty years. I will not be able to listen at 6.00 am. For many people who cannot listen at that time in the morning the change of time is destroying the only Christian programme available to them on a Sunday evening .The place of Christianity and hymn singing is worthy of prime time and should not be sidelined.

Comments: I consider it very high-handed of the BBC to move this much loved programme to 6 a.m. I am fortunate enough to be able to use a computer and catch up on I-player, but a large number of the elderly listeners will not have this facility. Who in their right mind wants to sit down and listen to an hour of hymns etc at 6 a.m. in the morning! If you are lucky enough to be going to church you will be too busy getting ready to do that. This programme has been listened to by me with both my parents and my husband for 60 years and it is a link with my husband who died 2 years ago and loved the programme. He had dementia but could still sing along to the hymns he knew and loved. Certainly not going to be able to do that at 6 in the morning. Are they mad or just want to get religion sidelined yet again because listening figures may not be as many they would wish!!!!

Comments: Having enjoyed this programme for as long as I remember this change will have a significant impact on my Sunday evening. For the BBC to give it a 6am (when most people are still asleep) indicates a degree on contempt for people like myself. Many are elderly and can no longer attend a place of worship.

Comments: I fully support keeping Sunday Half Hour at its usual time. I think this is another attempt to marginalise Christianity on BBC. There has been no widespread consultation with listeners over the proposed change. Fewer people will listen at the proposed new slot and there are quite a number of people who will not have access to a computer and, therefore iPlayer. When I listen to Sunday Half Hour, I'm aware that there are many others listening as well as me. I feel part of a listening community.
