Giant Eagle thinks they can just pull the plug on our community and leave us with nothing but empty shelves. The momentum we have right now shows these corporate suits that they cannot ignore the people who actually keep their business afloat. Keep the pressure on them because we are not backing down until they reverse this decision.

Giant Eagle thinks they can just walk away from St. Marys and leave us without food access. We are about to hit two hundred and fifty signatures so push this link out to everyone you know right now. We must force their corporate executives to see that we are not going to let them abandon this community.

Giant Eagle is betting that we will just fold and watch them abandon our town. We are almost at one hundred signatures so push harder now to show these corporate suits that we are not going anywhere.

The area and it's residents, many of whom have been loyal customers, NEED this quality store. I am a former employee of Giant Eagle. Have not heard any specific reason for this, but I am among those that want you to reconsider and keep the doors open. Please don't cave in to Walmart!
This store is a staple in our town. I go there for my meds and produce every week. If they close it where are we supposed to go. Wal-Mart is not the same and the meat is garbage there.
Ridiculous decision. St Marys residents deserve better than just one option. Keep it open!
Why can't they write off losses like the local owned mini marts with gas stations. They been doing that due to Sheetz coming to town.Giant Eagle know about Wal Mart due to Tops going out there same place as Giant Eagle..
I shop at this store at least 4 times per week . They carry a lot of items that chain stores just don't carry . The meat is great as it's fresh and they sell chemical free meat . The pharmacy is excellent . We spend thousands of dollars a year there .

Lets keep this FANTASTIC store in St. Mary's PA This place is much better to shop at than Walmart ever thought of being! Before you close this store think about the employees You can cut a few that is costing the Store money by Not working hard enough or cut some hours But Don't CLOSE the store completely. I myself Generally stop there each time I go to St Mary's The store has MUCH BETTER product than Walmart does. Maybe everyone should BOYCOTT Walmart and NOT buy groceries at Walmart! Just My Opinion
