We object to planning approval being granted for new dwellings on Shoreham Beach which adversely impact the quality of life of its residents. This includes the construction of 3 storey houses which would overlook existing bungalows and lead to loss of privacy and light. Developments which increase the number of households on existing plots contribute to increased traffic congestion and an overburdening of local amenities. The basic infrastructure of Shoreham Beach will be under threat if this peninsular is overdeveloped.
