Name: Deborah Lamb on Jan 21, 2013Comments: I feel this merger is far too big, primary school should be small and community based. The teachers should know all the children and there families. In a school this size children will get lost in the system and the "personal touch" and close knit feel will be completely lostFlag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 22, 2013Comments: My sone is in P2 at Oxgang just now and is coming on leaps and bounds. I feel this would change if we were to have a bigger school. Not only that there number of children in a primary school being the same or more as the high school doesn't seem to good to me. I also have twins who will start Oxgang in Aug.Flag

Name: Angela on Jan 29, 2013Comments: I think it is an absolutely ridiculous suggestion to merge schools. Oxgang primary is a fantastic primary school and i would fight against any suggestions or plans to make this happen. I think a child education is paramount and of the utmost importance and the thought of any more of my children at 5 years old having to enter a high school environment as young scared vulnerable children. They would be loosing out on the innocence and happy atmosphere you experience at primary school before enterning high. I along with anyone else i have spoken to is very much against this.Flag
