You should sign this petition for the future of our children and to save coal and jobs here in Kentucky. Coal supplies 93% of Kentucky's electricity and is our way of life here in our small town along with many other neighboring state's. If our coal jobs are taken away it will effect everyone in Kentucky. Not just Coal miners, Truck drivers, train operators, and surface miners, but the families will have to struggle because this is the only good paying jobs here in our town. A big majority of the people here in eastern Kentucky were not fortunate enough to complete college. As an american I felt like we are not being heard by congress and over looked. This is your way of speaking up and taking a stand. Please take the time by signing this petition to help our families to hold onto what they have left and save OUR way of life.
