Name: Patrice Snyder on Oct 13, 2010Comments: I am a college student. I have two children in college also. I scrapped and saved the best I could to put money away for their college. Each kid had $10,000.00. Each of my children are talented, focused, children with jobs mopping floors 32 hrs a week at min. wage. One of my sons is a Biology major the other is a music student thinking about engineering. The problem is Debt, burnout and the resentment that is building. Why! Am I, did I scrimp to save, why are my kids being forced into "slavery" having to take the lowest of wages and high level of debt. Why do we consistently reward bad negative behavior s and reward those that are consistently taking from our society. My kids are sitting in classrooms with kids that are going to school for next to nothing or free and lack the work ethic to be successful. I recently had a conversation with my youngest son who has been awarded scholarships by private Co.'s and it still isn't enough money to go to the schools he was accepted into. The kids are saying it isn't worth it to go so far into debt for school.... I did my part they did their part. I raised great kids they kept themselves out of trouble WHERE IS THE US government! The loans and grants that paid or helped pay previous generations tuition costs! I am angry tired, overworked and begging for a change in this country, this State. I am not foolish enough to blame you personally by any means I am a Democrat. I don't believe in any of the wars we are in! And I'm really tired of minority coddling we need to reward positive efforts from anyone period. We also need to Ridicule, embarrass, punish and discourage greed and obvious fraud. If you have read this Thank you, if not I warn you it is coming to a sad sad place where the spirit of those who made this country a great is no longer. Rather it will become a place of the broken and burnt out of spirit. Patrice SnyderFlag
