We want to explore fixing and maintaining it now and for future jumpers.

I'll never forget bringing home Kennett Highs state championship title in 2009. It wouldn't have been the same without Plymouth there to compete with nor would the season have meant as much with the Plymouth jump taken out of the picture.
Thank you for your concern about the safety of the ski-jump. Ski jumping has a long safety history and we hope you will consider repairing the jump instead of tearing it down....the kids in your community will thank you. -Dennis McGrane, member 1984 and 1988 Olympic Teams.
It was such a pleasure to see all of the Plymouth jumpers at the High School meet last winter. New Hampshire is the only state in the nation with high school Nordic Jumping. Let's relish our tradition and heritage. We're all stewards for a special and unique tradition.
My daughter just got started jumping last year in the 4th grade at Sunapee elementary and jumped with AOC in Andover, We are looking forward to her competing at the HS level. Please keep the jump, we are losing too many of our heritage athletic venues.
The ski jump is a point of pride among PRHS alums, a tradition that lives on at very few public schools in the country. I very much hope that nordic jumping remains an opportunity made available to PRHS students going forward. I hope you will consider our request.
Should be no reason to rip it down. Just fix it . It's what the bobcat want it's what the bobcat gonna get. I'm a bobcat class of "98" I say keep it no matter what!
Every athlete accepts physical risks and every sport inherently has unique risks built into them. Ski jumping is an important sport, particularly in the northeast. I believe high school students should continue to ski jump at PRHS and accept the risks associated with the sport. This school has had some great ski and snowboard athletes graduate and go on to do great things with this sport, built on the foundations they learned in high school. Yes, there could be people who decide to climb up and on this inappropriately outside of what it is meant for, but perhaps there could be bigger signs or a camera? Good luck keeping the jump and sport alive!

My son jumped for four years for Kennett HS and is now at Keene State. This afternoon he is approaching the Keene State Architecture Program to see if they can provide design assistance for whatever needs to be done to save this. This decision does not just impact Plymouth! Come on NH!
