We the undersigned would like to make it clear just how much we would like to keep the Shisha Garden in Maidenhead a part of our lives. Not only is it a unique and wonderful place to go but we have created a little community there over the last year that would feel out of place anywhere else. The great atmosphere created by the surroundings and the staff is found no where else in our little town, but we like it like that and want to keep it that way. We hope that you will allow us to make the structure meet the laws you require to make sure our little haven can stay standing. Thanks for listening to us. We only come in peace. Please save our Shisha Garden!

Very occasionally we see small glimmers of light that bring us all hope that maybe this town might rebuild and rejuvenate itself. The Shisha Bar was one of those little rays of optimism that appeared and offered the town something different. The good thing about it was that there was never ever a ‘hard sell’ to its customers.. Just a great place to smoke a Shisha pipe and sometimes listen to amazing local acoustic musicians. It was wonderful, that this tiny little place offered sanctuary in a street that was nearly all boarded up or had establishments existing within an uglier place in our society. It is imperative that we, as a community encourage places like this to open and offer them support to surmount any hurdles that may be presented by local regulations. I have had many conversations with friends and colleagues of all walks of life in Maidenhead. Without exception, they want this new alternative place to eat, drink and relax, to work and survive. This was even from people who may never visit the Shisha Bar but realized the importance for the future of the town for it to work and maybe be one of the small seeds that grows to encourage more restoration of life in Maidenhead.
