On April 15, 2008 the Director of the Halton District School Board (\"HSDB\") recommended that: -Brantwood and New Central schools be closed in 2009 -Our children will be bussed out of our community to MapleGrove and EJ James Schools This will take away all english elementary schools west of Maple Grove Road. If this recommendation is accepted by the HDSB Trustees, it will have IRREVERSIBLE and EXTREMELY ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES for our community. Your TCRA Board will send a delegation to the school trustees on May 20, 2008 to strongly argue for english elementary public schooling to remain in our community.
