The infrastructure is already incapable of coping on a day to day basis without adding to the problem. Hermitage Lane is at bursting point and will soon be at a standstill when the RBLI project is completed at the junction with the A20. As to the loss of an ancient woodland words fail me - so much for Global Warming!!

I work at Maidstone Hospital and am saddened that houses are going to be built all over the fields etc of the Hermitage Lane. Also traffic in this area s terrible already and more homes mean more cars trying to access already overused roads

This area is a valuable open space for locals all year round... Its a natural piece of countryside ... Undeveloped ie not tarmaced which is hard to find and extremy valued by outdoorsy people. Please leave it alone and keep Allington the special place it is at the moment.

It is a disgrace that Maidstone Council approved permission for 420 homes (Scheme 2) BEFORE the decision of the public Appeal, which cost us the tax payers in excess of £40,000 !! Destruction of our beautiful bluebell wood and Scheme 3 for a further 80 homes must not be allowed.

I lived here as a child and my parents still do. The woodlands are abundant with flora and fauna and many trees have preservations on them. Are we becoming so selfish and blind as humans to not consider the needs of other species on the planet. We need to care now to protect for the future.

We found these woods when we first moved to the area, we loved them, our children when they came along, loved them & I want my Grandchildren when I have them to enjoy them. They are a beautiful & peaceful place amongst a concrete jungle, leave them alone

Don’t get rid of bluebell woods don’t ruin nature

The infrastructure simply cannot cope with any more houses. Please listen to the residents, whose daily lives are being adversely affected.
