Hands Off Our Catholic Churches!

The petition

Catholic Churches are being closed as part of the 'diocesan re-organisation' policies of the Catholic Bishops of England & Wales.

This petition will be sent to the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation of Bishops in an attempt to halt the closures.

These closures mean that many in rural parishes will be without a Church, the parishioners forced to travel miles to fulfil their Obligation. Many of these parishioners have not been consulted and protests and pleas ignored.

The Catholic Church in England & Wales is in decline in several areas - but the closure of our churches is the last straw.
