Comments: I despise the bully-boy tactics of the corporate Kapitol Promotions. Just who do they think they are dealing with? It’s like being asked to sign up for a new energy supplier because 'it will be better than the one you're currently with' but not told how much per unit you are going to have to pay. Who the hell would possibly sign up for that?

Comments: I see no need for the Kapitol Registry. It has no track record and can it really cope with in excess of 14000 registrations before the end of February.

Comments: I'm signing this petition on the understanding that the registry will be run properly and professionally, moving forward and that internal politics will not afford this sort of opportunity to be made available to commercial organisations which would potentially be disastrous for the brass band movement

Comments: This 'Registry Competition' seems wholly unecessary and does the cause of banding no credit at all. If it's slightly broke, fix it, don't pay for a (possibly ) expensive replacement.

Comments: Why change something that works. From a financial point of view the proposal to introduce a new registry is going to add extra financial burden to bands who are already struggling in the current economic climate.

Comments: I have been Contest Secretary for several years and have only ever had good service from BBBR. I'm extremely reluctant to recommend that my band join the new registry for several reasons - possible cost, hassle for me, and don't see why we should be bullied into it. Also we have fairly recently renewed our BBBR cards for 2 years and I now have read that Kapitol's registry will only validate these for one year
