Comments: NASA is my favourite venue in Reykjavík and I look forward to being back there every single year. This is a heartbreaking turn of events and I hope the owners of the building will think again.

Comments: I am a writer for NME magazine in the UK, and have visited Iceland twice. I was impressed not only by the Reykjavik music scene but the city's venues, and NASA stands out particularly in my memory. We need to preserve live music venues.

Comments: This is a truly wonderful venue, offering up a rich and varied programme of art and culture to the residents of Reykjavik - to lose it would be an abject shame.

Comments: As stated above, Reykjavík already has a huge amount of hotels to cater to tourists from around the country and abroad. It should be pointed out to the owners that many, MANY people come to the city for the music scene and NASA is a key part of this, especially in the annual Airwaves festival. To tear it down or ruin it in any way would be damaging. Do not let tourism ruin your culture!

Comments: NASA is very important to Reykjavik, and the only venue of it's kind. As a foreigner, NASA was where I saw my first music show in Iceland, which then became the first of many. I understand that the idea is to build a hotel instead of keep NASA. Well let me say something - there are more than enough hotels apartmenthouses ,and hostels in Reykjavik. But there is only one NASA. Music is a huge draw for tourism, it is what brought me to Iceland - so, PLEASE KEEP NASA!

Comments: I visited Reykjavik twice (once for Iceland Airwaves 2011 and I'dd like to come back for future music events) so I feel concerned by this affair. Keep what characterizes your beautiful city!
