Safer Neighbourhood Teams make our communities safer by responding to local priorities set by local people.
We want to show our support for our local Teams in the face of police funding cuts and restructuring in the MET.
We want Boris to think again about cutting police funding and keep his commitment to increasing, not decreasing the number of Police officers on the street.
We want Boris to think again about selling off Police
stations in Norwood, Streatham and Clapham. Local police need a base to operate
from.
We want Boris to commit the MET to Safer Neighbourhood
Teams, making Borough Commanders keep SNT's on the streets not abstracted for other duties.
