Mr. Tyree is a wonderful 7th grade English Teacher who is getting called out on what he did at a black history month assembly. There was a choir group who did skits about black history, but what they did not let any of the students or parents know is that they would be singing about God. Mr.Tyree is a good teacher for doing something about it and going on stage announcing "If anyone is offended by this you may leave the auditorium to come with me in the gym" Meaning if this is against anyone's religion you can leave to come with me in the gym. Which is right because alot of the kids were offended by this because religion is not allowed in schools so he did the right thing. The ex-mayor took this differently he said that this was the teacher going against black history month when it was not. Now the school board is having a meeting about this to see weather or not he will loose his job. Please help me save his job by signing this petition! Thank you for the support!
