Every year, Mr Joel Solish has hosted one of the more epic potlucks I've been to. Meatluck features dishes that must contain some sort o' meat and has brought together some of Toronto's more creative cooking minds. In the past, Meatluck's featured moose meatballs, horse tenderloin, sweatbreads and a bacon-enriched cake that looked like a suckling pig. Without Meatluck, we're lost. Lost! Joel's recently mentioned that he's leaning towards not having another Meatluck. David Ort and I were almost brought to tears when we heard this, but we were also epicly drunk at the time, so who knows. Please sign the petition to show Joel that we appreciate his Meatluck efforts and that it's an annual event that's become a Toronto food tradition.
