Name: Shauna Bradley on Jan 10, 2013Comments: My dog is a Maltese x Shih Tzu and she loves going to the beach. It is dreadfully unfair that the minority, irresponsible dog owners ruin it for the rest of us. My dog, Miki, isn't a fan of the water, but loves nothing more than running along the beach with the wind in her ears, and rolling around in the sand. The beach is the only public place where she can be off leash and not be limited for space and to be honest there isn't that many places I can take her on leash anymore anyway! My dog is my child, so she definitely deserves to be able to run free in public!Flag

Name: Helen Knight on Jan 15, 2013Comments: I use this beach every Friday as a way for my 2 dogs to excercise and to socialise as do many many sunshine coast pet owners. People complain about dogs being anti social and causing problems but there are so few places where we can take our canine friends to develop and maintain these social skills. If our options are taken away from us we will have a society of bored and antisocial dogs and owners who break the laws for the sake of keeping their companions sane and respectable in company.. Taking these areas away will do more harm than good. Please do not take away the little freedom our dogs have.Flag
