Name: Krys Anderson on Dec 3, 2012Comments: As a Health Visitor I have grave concerns over the proposed closure of acute services at Lewisham Hospital which would impact on the health and well being of some of the most vulnerable families in the UKFlag

Name: Teressa Riley on Dec 3, 2012Comments: This would make more pressures on the emergency services as people who require A&E will contact the emergency services more often as they do not have a local A&E Service and feel they cannot get themselves to A&E in a suitable time. This is also another example of waisting money in the NHS whereby money has been put into Lewisham Hospital to enhance and improve the A&E facilities at the hospital and now we are thinking of closing the department.Flag

Name: Pamela Martin on Dec 3, 2012Comments: we have worked well in lewisham to use resources effectively and breakdown barriers between primary, secondar and community care, and we work closely with the local authority. if lewisham hospital is closed despite local clinicians protestations it will make a mockery of the health and social care act.Flag

Name: Dr. Magid Mina on Dec 3, 2012Comments: Please save our very successful hospital. It has met all its financial targets for 6 successive years adn maintained excellent patient care to our local people in Lewisham. The recent demonstration in Lewisham had shown the huge publib support to keep the hospital's A&E and acute services open. Please reject these proposals.Flag

Name: David Abraham on Dec 3, 2012Comments: Whilst recognising and embracing the need for transformational change in health service delivery in our area, these proscriptive proposals appear unsafe, detrimental to Lewisham people and failing the Nicholson criteria More discussion, truly involving local clinicians, rather than the inadequate process so far, is essential. Thank youFlag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 3, 2012Comments: No evidence that community services will reduce the need for A/E servcies at the level suggested. We should be making sure that these services are in place and delivering before considering any changes to Lewisham A/E services. It seems as though we are being penalised for improving our organisation and making an FT application.Flag
