Name: Dr Louise Irvine on Dec 2, 2012Comments: AS a Lewisham GP I am alarmed at the proposals which will mean the loss of vital local services for my patients. Already some of the most deprived in London they will have to travel further and wait longer for the care they need. The loss of local emergency and maternity care will put lives at risk, of that I am sure.Flag

Name: Dr David S T Davies on Dec 2, 2012Comments: This proposal is a travesty. I work in a practice 300 yards from the hospital and help service the UCC in A&E. To lose the acute provider status for UHL will mean fragmentation of provision and an eroding of the excellent service we as local NHS staff have worked for many years to build. Listen to us, Mr Cameron - we understand how to run our local services well and we need your confidence in us to continue to do so.Flag

As we all know this is one of the most deprived areas of London & closing down such a vital service will undoubtedly affect some of the most vulnerable people in our society.Flag

Name: Dr Alberto Febles on Dec 2, 2012Comments: As a GP Principal, I confirm that the TSA review does not have the backing of the majority of local GPs and our CCG. This proposal would have very serious impact on the ongoing work towards the integration of services between Primary and Secondary at local level, which we strongly believe is essential to improve the care and respond to the needs of Lewisham patients. A fully operational hospital, including acute services and A&E provision are pre-requisites for the successful completion of this work.Flag
