I am appalled, how can the farmer attempt to sell the land for property development? I hope that we can save the fields, it would be tragic to see such an area of natural beauty be destroyed by greedy property developers who don't care about nature which is needed for people's mental and physical health.
I want my lark hall fields saved from property developers, it would destroy the local countryside and conservation as well as lower the price of local houses. Property prices would plummet if there were loads of houses built.
So depressed to read about this in the local paper last week. It’s critical that this area of land is kept as green belt - it seems every open space or green field in or around Macclesfield is up for development if the price is right. This is such a beautiful piece of land, rich with wildlife & history. Awful to think of those beautiful, magical trees & meadow choked by poorly designed, poor quality & typical East Cheshire Council approved housing. Hoping that this can be saved & good effort to all those working hard to this end
I think it is brilliant idea to save lark hall field...I found a flyer about it at scoop and scales in macc...and wish you the best of luck

Please don't sell this land for development. My wife walks here multiple times a day & standing by the pond really helps with her mental health
