Don't let the building of housing, offices, flats or social service buildings on our precious green belt land. It's far too easy to build on virgin land which has the minimum cost, work and effort and Yield the most profit. Companies could build on what's called brownfield sites which could mean demolishing property already on the site and filling in possible cellars, wells and clearing rubble and leveling the site. This would cause the developer a lot more money and man power. There is also the the fact of it spoiling our village by over population, full schools. Roads that have already been narrowed thus slowing transport and causing congestion at peak times. Our village along with it's neighbors go back hundreds of years to the times of Kirkstall Abbey. Don't let speculators spoil our heritage. Vote no to building and to leave our green fields alone.
