we got the news that the merger is officially off and jpfo is staying independent. i dont even have the words to say how much i appreciate everyone who jumped in to help protect this legacy. we still have work to do to keep things on track but for now …

The board of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) has secretly made a plan to hand the organization off to the Second Amendment Foundation.
These two organizations are utterly incompatible. Handing JPFO over to SAF will result in its destruction and is a total betrayal of the legacy of Aaron Zelman, JPFO's late founder.
A VIABLE PLAN DOES EXIST to keep JPFO independent and true to Aaron's vision. This plan has a funding commitment and active, experienced JPFO people behind it. It needs only a chance to be more fully developed and considered. It needs TIME.
We urge the JPFO board to STOP THE SAF merger immediately!

JPFO is not the property of the "board" to dispose of as it wishes. Incidentally, it's not clear how the current triumvirate came to power after Aaron's untimely death. As a long time life member, I can state with certainty that I never voted for them. Nor was I ever presented with an opportunity to vote for, or against, them. Their current move, along with their apparent attempt to keep it from JPFO's members and supporters until it was too late, are not the moves of leaders following Aaron's vision and principles. It's time for them to be replaced with leaders who will remain steadfast and true to those principles.
The 2nd Amendment is the most important one. Only fools want citizens to be disarmed!!
I'm an unkosher righteous jew and I'm tired of the Communist Zionist Jewish doublespeak. Alan Gottlieb is just another Commie Zionist Illuminati jew trying to make more money for the Jewish Banking Cartel and its banking interests. If JPFO is truly about representing Jews, especially unkosher Jews like me and other people as well, they need to put their money where their mouth is and don't be another Jewish supremacist organization hiding behind the second amendment and Bill of Rights!
JPFO should be separate and still in the fight! Joining SAF is diluting the voice of JPFO!
Aaron built something unique and this board is just trashing his hard work behind closed doors. Keep JPFO independent or we are all walking away.

After reading the referenced information, I emailed a copy of the petition to SAF with my dissatisfaction of Gottlieb's actions.
