    Comments: I am a receptionist at the walk in centre. I think it is very sad that it is going to close. I think that we offer a fantastic service and alot of people are going to miss it. Please save our jobs so we can continue to give care to the community!

    Comments: I think this is a travesty that the walk in centre should close. Local GPs should consider it a god send that it is there helping them with there work load, and not complain because it is there. The local GPs didnt want the walk in centre in 2008, now they have there wish.

    Comments: the walk in centre is great, the staff are helpful and polite, you can always get seen on the same day. at my GP you have to wait 2 weeks to be seen, what a load of rubbish

    Comments: Currently been tapering off Valium and have really needed local medical support every time I have experienced some nasty symptoms. All the other surgeries would only ever see me a week after making an appointment and I needed support as quickly as possible. If I had gone to an A&E I would have been made to feel stupid and a time waster. We need to keep this vital local health service, without it all the other surgeries will be put under too much pressure and it'll prove a danger to those who need immediate support.

    Comments: It's going to lead to unnecessary deaths due to people not being able to see a doctor out of hours and in an emergency.I have two young children and when they were both under three we had emergency care from the drop in centre.please keep the centre open even if it is not a general practice .

    Comments: I saw a poster yesterday trying reduce unnecessary A & E attendance, it advised going to your NHS Walk In Centre instead. It seems illogical therefore to close the local centre.

    Comments: We have used the Walk in Centre at Ilkeston on numerous occasions, especially late at night when our children have been ill. It is madness to even consider closing it down! Inevitably it will result in many more people having to travel to A&E depts in Derby or Nottingham. Now that is wasting NHS money! The community of Ilkeston is constantly expanding yet all they want to do is contract the services here. When will the powers that be wake up and smell the roses!
