Name: Janice Draycott on Dec 11, 2012Comments: I have used the walk in centre many times for both myself & especially my children. doctors maybe open longer, but they are not open evenings & weekends & you can't always get to see a doctor the same day. My daughter gets tonsillitus & having to wait from a friday night to Monday (if you are lucky) is far too long to go when she is really poorly & needs antibiotics.Flag

I am not sure the things that I could possibly have carried out without the type of opinions discussed by you over that theme. Certainly was a very scary condition in my position, nevertheless discovering the professional way you treated that made me to leap for joy. I am happy for this guidance and thus have high hopes you really know what a great job you were doing educating some other people by way of your website. Most probably you've never got to know all of us. louis vuitton handbags http://higts.overblog.com/Flag

Name: Diane Horsley on Dec 11, 2012Comments: This is just unbelievable, first Stapleford now this? they keep moaning about A&E departments being used inappropriately and costs but where are people supposed to go when all the out of hours care is being stripped away. QMC is already at breaking point and yet we are told that is taking over as the walk in centre. What kind of warped thinking is that? Provision cannot be taken away without proper consultation and appropriate accessible alternativesFlag

Name: Zee Sheldon on Dec 11, 2012Comments: Appointments after 2pm? Open on a Wednesday afternoon?? Saturdays?? AND Sundays?? Good lord!! How convenient is that? Come on my loves, sign on the line to save the only practice in the area working with the modern family! The extended hours now being offered by other practices do not come close to offering what we need as a family in order to get out of hours appointments for non emergency care without taking time off work. In fact the surgery we moved from are not offering any change in hours at all! The staff at the Ilkeston GP practice are all very friendly and have always seen to our needs in a speedy fashion, If the practice does indeed close I would like to say thank you to them all for taking such good care of myself and my family.Flag

Name: Robert Lindsay on Dec 11, 2012Comments: Ilkeston is my home town of which I have very fond memories. I have watched over the years the town suffer with cut backs and its status slowly decline, most notably when its railway station was taken away but this...is the last straw! The NHS walk-in centre should not be closed...Flag

Name: Jenny Scott on Dec 11, 2012Comments: We have just registered with this practice. We could never get appointments with our local GP practice and made the decision that we would rather be prepared to travel a bit further but be able to get an appointment when we needed it. I recommend this service to all my friends who also struggle to get more local appointments. It will be a travesty of this service goes.Flag

Name: Paul Owen on Dec 11, 2012Comments: This is my gp. The staff are the best I have even know, and to say it not worth keeping open is nonsence, at the week end and evenings it's always busy with people who could not get in there gp's and for me the staff are great I have MS and the staff know me now, and for me to get to another GP and get them to understand my personal preblems is going to be hard, I'm not finding another gp's untill the doors are locked on this one.Flag
