Name: Gary Mellors on Dec 8, 2012Comments: What a shocking decision. This walk in centre has been a god send to me and my family in the past, as it will have been for thousands of others. It seems now days you have to live within city boundaries to keep any public services worth having. Appaling!Flag

Name: Valerie Hallam on Dec 8, 2012Comments: All my family are registered with the Ilkeston Family Practice because we could never get an appointment with our Doctors when we needed one. We can always get through to the Family Practice and get an appointment the same day. The Receptionists are friendly and helpful and the Doctors and Nurses friendly and professional. If all the Surgeries in the country were as good as this we would have an excellent GP service. We are devastated that we have to find an alternative Surgery but I suppose it was too good to last.Flag

Name: Helen Smedley on Dec 9, 2012Comments: Where else can you get a G.P appointment to fit in with work, school run, always being busy on my one day off a week, and having to wait a week or more for an appointment elsewhere, by which time you're either better or dead? Last time I went my appointment was on a saturday at 7pm and I only phoned an hour before. Better than waiting in my previous GP's surgery for 1 hour & 5 minutes after my appoinment time.Flag
