As part of a review of Council estate, East Dunbartonshire council are proposing to merge four schools, we believe, to the detriment of our children's education and the community.
Harestanes lies at the heart of the local community, providing not only a fantastic education and excellent learning environment, but also a local community center and church. Not to mention the many club that make use of the school in the evenings, to the great benefit of the larger community.
The feedback from local families continues to highlight how essential this school remains for our daily lives. I am currently compiling these personal accounts to present directly to the council members during our upcoming meeting.

The level of support our request has received confirms that the community recognizes the vital role this school plays in our daily lives. This momentum demonstrates that our collective commitment to preserving this institution is stronger than ever.

The after school clubs are the only thing my daughter has. If the school goes everything goes. Dont do it.

My kids go there and love it. Moving them now would be a total disaster for their progress. Stop cutting corners on our kids futures!
