Save FORT HOWARD for our veterans only! We have 32, 219 wounded soldiers in IRAQ alone(10/28/11)! Our heroes deserve to come home to Fort Howard as a full service care center, in the historic (war 1812) park like setting - FOR OUR VETERANS ONLY! KEEP THE DEVELOPER FROM COVETING HISTORIC SACRED VETERANS LAND, OWNED BY THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION. DO NOT LET THE V.A. DISPOSE OF THE HOSPITAL DURING OUR TIME OF NEED. In Maryland 4 out of 10 homeless are veterans. We will not tolerate seperating families after our injured come home (the wounded average 18 months of inpatient care) we want our military family members here at fort howard. FOR VETERANS ONLY - RESTORE FULL SERVICE HOSPITAL!!!! Do not let the proposed development destroy our small community on a two lane peninsula. Our military families are afraid of eminent domain and of losing our heritage. Our environment will be wounded, as well, building 3 times the amount approved for this area (1800 units) on waterfront property, for private citizens; only 50 units would be their 'veterans perferred' - priced out of a 100% veterans income range!
