On the November the 3rd 2012 Flicks cinema in Clacton on Sea will close its doors for good. A very sad and tragic loss to the surrounding community. Over the years the cinema has provided generations with the magic that only the big screen can deliver.

Our purpose is to try and disuede the owners,or at the very least get them to enter into discussion with our councillors for an amicable solution.

The cinema is a safe haven for children,a night out for couples,a meeting place for friends and has had strong links with local schools and charities. A valuable community asset for present and future generations.

This petition will be presented to our Tourism and Community Councillor Mr S Mayzes.

Please support this now as we can not sit idley by and lose the cinema.

We can only try,no point wondering after the doors have closed.......What if?
