In order to maintain our small-town atmosphere, we theundersignedpetition the San Clemente City Government to listen to its residents, take the advice of its General Plan Advisory Committee and the SanClementeHistorical Society, and limit future buildings in the historic downtown area to 2 stories.
[BOTH FIRST AND LAST NAMES ARE REQUIRED]
Reaching this current level of community interest confirms how deeply people value the unique character of our downtown area. It is a quiet reminder that many residents share a common vision for how our city should evolve over time.

The momentum building behind our request to preserve the charm of our downtown area is encouraging. Reaching one hundred signatures will provide a strong foundation when we present our case to the city government. Please consider sending this link to a neighbor who values the character of our streets.

Don't ruin a good thing by overbuilding.
