As it stands today, regarding non-licensed church parents day out programs, the law states that services for children less than school age can be available no more than two days in each calendar week, for no more than six hours per day. In the past, DHS has advised churches and church organizations that they could operate for more than two days each week so long as no individual child attended more than two days during any given week, hence separate Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday programs.

     Therefore, we are asking for your support to overturn this opinion, in the form of a signature on this petition. We will be mailing and e-mailing a copy of this petition to the Office of the Attorney General at the end of December. Therefore, we need your support and signature by December 20, 2012.
