Surestart nurseries have a massive support from outside agencies that other nurseries do not and will never recieve and they have very highly trained staff unlike others.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 13, 2012Comments: I have been to the Sure Start centre in Cleckheaton and was thorughly impressed by the service provided by the staff and the facilities. I went there to try and help me get out again and build my confidence back up after the birth of my first child. It is a great way to meet people in the same situation and to get support. Places like this are needed to help people when they most need it. It helped me a great deal and really would be a shame to see the funding that provides these quality of facilities being cut. Can an alternative be arranged? For example the playgroup I attended was free why don't they ask for donations when people attend? I would have gladly contributed as it was excellent and at the time could not believe that they provided that quality of service for free. Again, it would be such a shame to see it go. In todays busy lifestyles people need to know that there is somewhere to go where they can chat to someone and receive information and help as there is so much to think about and having this available can help people from suffering more than they need to.Flag
