this is a small school in the heart of our community where every child is known individually by each teacher unlike larger schools there is more time for each childs education. with long serving teachers who really do care and support our children with anything they need or do . If this school shuts there will be around 300 childrens education jeopardised . we only need 30 more year 6's to join us in september and the school will stay open . Please give Burnholme a chance and give your child the care and support in their education that they deserve IF THIS SCHOOL CLOSES NEARBY SECONDARY SCHOOLS HAVE SAID THEY ARE ALREADY FULL STATISTICS SHOW AN INCREASE IN YEAR 7 STUDENTS FROM 2015 IF CLOSURE HAPPENS IN 2014 LOCAL SCHOOLS WILL DEFINITELY BE OVERCROWDED DO YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO TRAVEL ACROSS YORK TO A SCHOOL WITH PLACES ? WHERE WILL CHILDREN FROM DERWENTHORPE DEVELOPMENT BE CRAMMED INTO ? TO KEEP BURNHOLME OPEN WOULD GUARANTEE PLACES FOR YOUR CHILDREN.........please help by signing this !!!!!
