Bowie State University Students for Liberty holds the fundamental belief that in order to have a free academy to produce a free society, the maximum level of input from the maximum numbers of individuals affected by a decision must be taken into account. We hold the firm belief that there should not be a major decision taken by the Bowie State University Student Government Association without the proper input from the students they are charged to represent.  Both of these beliefs extend to planning and execution of Homecoming event which are overwhelmingly funded by student funds. We demand the following actions take place:

1.       The Student Government Association takes into account the opinions of the students they voluntarily sought to represent.

2.       The Bowie State University Student Government Association is to spend $240,000 (80% of the proposed, but not passed budget) on homecoming events do it with the input of the student senate which is a more accurate representation of the student body.

3.       Re-plan all of the MAJOR EVENTS that require MAJOR student funding with actual student input.

We seek these demands as they are in the best interest of the general student body, rather than the small minority that has been involved in the current decision making process.
