This is the 35th year of this FREE music and art festival, scheduled to be it's last. The city of Asheville claims a loss of 400+thousand dollars annually as the reason for it to end... Hogwash!! If we the citizens stand together and say NO loudly they will be forced to change their plans. If we need to make a change I propose an easy one. We have over 300,000 people visit our city and spend millions while they are here. Sell a bracelet for a couple bucks to everyone who comes and the 400K deficit becomes a very profitable festival and thereby ends the reason for closing it. Lets Save Bele Chere!!!!
