On July 30th, officials decided to close down Angels Knoll from public access. They're taking away one of the few grassy areas offered in DTLA, not to mention a famous film destination (seen in 500 Days of Summer). I can't bear to think that they could just declare it closed when it's such a hot spot for tourists and locals just the same.
