    Comments: Yah, I have always called us Sault-ites until i saw it being posted on Soo Today I never heard of Saultbies. As a joke, a couple people I know call us Sault-ers but it is still the norm for us to be Sault-ites.

    Comments: "ite" is a suffix which means to form names of people belonging to the same group. "bie" on the other hand has no known grammatical meaning. Most likely it was modeled after something spewed from popular culture and unfortunately has caught on. Can you say Romper Room

    Comments: I was gonna send a congrats to the 'Guess Who is watching' girl on the Sootoday site...until I saw that she too referred to 'Saultites' as 'saultbies'. What a disgrace! Why change something that has always worked for us in the first place I mean, there was nothing wrong with 'saultites' so...what's the big toodoo about making changes at this point Really, we need to voice our opinions to something that's always worked for us...so...as far as I'm concerned, leave things as they are.....WE ARE AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN...SAULT-ITES.....so let's work together to keep the good things going strong...in this community....beginning with 'Saultites' sticking together.

    Comments: The term "Saultbies" is obviously a take off on the demeaning and contemptous computer term "Newbies". This could only have been thought up by the SooTodaybies, lets shorten it to Soo2babies.
